February 2008

Okay, so it's been awhile since I've posted anything. Well for those of you who didn't know, we've moved (again). This time we are living just 5 minutes from where Justin works. It's a cute, remote town just west of West Jordan called Copperton. You wouldn't even know it existed until you get about a half mile from it. It's tucked away in the canyon next to the copper mine. The population is about 750-800 and we love it! It's also very diverse for being such a small town. There is a Methodist church right next to the LDS church and a Catholic church close to our home. The community is great. We've been to a few community parties and I guess they have more going on during spring and summer. There is a huge park here that takes up about half the size of the town and I can't wait until all the snow melts so we can take Nathan there. We are just getting settled in here and really love our neighborhood. We live on the only cult-de-sac here and have great neighbors and Nathan is making friends with a few of the boys his age here.

I just got called as the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's presidency and I'm really excited. The ward struggles alittle here. My first week in Young Women's was last week and there were only about 6 girls there (mostly beehives). When I asked if that was the normal turnout, I was told that was a really good turnout. Justin is the 4th Sunday teacher in the Elder's Quorum. He's meeting with the bishop tonight, so we'll see what his other new calling is going to be!

Anyway, Nathan is talking really well now and I can't get him to stop. He calls me Sarah now instead of mom and nothing I do will get him to call me mom. He's still a handful and is always getting into things. He can count...sort of. He says 1-2-3-5-7-8. And he kind of knows his shapes. He knows circle, oval, star, and I think that's it. Everything else is a circle.

We are also starting the adoption process over again. We were very lucky to get Nathan so quickly and I can only hope the next one will be quick as well, but I'm not so sure it will be. Some day it is my ultimate goal to adopt a little girl from China, but it's really expensive. Hopefully we can pull it off someday. It's been a goal of mine for a very long time! Anyway, we would love to hear from everyone and get updated on what's going on in your lives, so post some comments or email us at reddfam@gmail.com.

Love,
The Redd's

Ashlee's party turned out really fun. She got lots of cute things. I can't remember what your mom said you got her though. It was cute she almost cried when she blew out her candles cause everyone was clapping and yelling and it was way to much attention for her. She is so shy!! As soon as I take my big test Monday I will post some pics. Speaking of posting..When you gonna get back into it. Oh and do you ever check out KSL.com for cars. Cody has been looking so we can get something when we sell our car and there is a lot of good stuff up in your area that is cheap and half decent too.

So. I have no Idea how to comment justin back. When I clicked on his name from my comment it showed a picture of some crazy haired(but yes, cute) dog.

So, anyway.
I DID do my hair like this. But it looks nothing like this.
Ha. None of the color, bangs are competely different. I just have an extreme A-line(sarah can explain) Everyone says they like it and it takes 2 seconds to do.

You boys shouldn't be the only ones that get to roll out of bed.

:P

Well Nate hugs include buggers.

I still love them. But he needs to start doing the run and embrace while yelling "aunt whitney!"

You know I love the little dood.
